Wildwood Spirits Company is the creation of Chef John Howie and Sommelier/Master Distiller Erik Liedholm. Wildwood Spirits Co. opened in 2014, since it's inception it has always been the goal of Chef Howie and Mr. Liedholm to create the finest craft spirits available.
As they say the proof is in the pudding...Wildwood Spirits Co. gin "Kur" pronounced "Cure" and their vodka "Stark Vattan" have both won multiple gold medals from nationally and internationally recognized spirits competitions. Including a double gold from the New York World Wine and Spirits Competition in both 2014 and 2017.
The Dark Door Washington Straight Bourbon was first released in February of 2018, it was entered into two competions, the Berlin International Competition, where it won a gold medal, and the San Francisco International Spirits competition where it won a double gold medal.
Since its inception The Wildwood Spirits Co. has produced the highest quality spirits available, using both art and science to create amazing spirits. Using only the best Washington ingredients available, from Washington heirloom wheat and corn, to the purest Washington water, to fresh Braeburn apples, Douglas fir, for our gin, and just pressed grape pomace for our grappa.
It is our goal to produce only the best and most awarded craft spirits in America.
