HeartBeet Organic Superfoods Café is a casual quick-serve superfoods restaurant that was started in 2008 by a local Seattleite named Monica Colgan. Monica started the restaurant after her mother was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2004, and she became inspired by seeing the healing that is possible when you eat mostly raw foods. So, Monica dreamed of creating a magical place -- a place with vegetables so good, even the mainstream public wanted to eat them -- and with a lot of hard work and the support of the community, it became so.
Even though the face of the cafe has evolved over the years, our aim at HeartBeet has been simple: to make a lasting, positive impact on people’s overall health and well-being. That means our menu is 100% plant-based (totally vegan and dairy-free), our menu items are made using primarily organic, raw ingredients... and we're gluten-free to boot! Why? Because we want to serve you and your loved ones unique foods that are full of as much vitality as possible. At HeartBeet, those come in the form of: superfood smoothies, raw organic juices, fresh savory salads, soups, warm grain bowls, n'ice cream bowls, desserts, juice cleanses, alkaline water, healthy snacks, sprouts, organic supplements, and more!
