Student & Parent Coaching: 1:1 Coaching for High School or College Students & Parents

  • Life After High School Planning
  • College Planning (school options, majors, classes)
  • College To Career Planning (internships, career development)
  • Students (personal growth, accountability, mindset)
  • Parents (empty nest, transitions, parents as coaches)

There are many transitions & decisions that young adults make during their years in high school, followed by college or career development years and then again into internships and careers.

Students need tools to make decisions, a safe place to discuss options and a roadmap that can develop and grow with them.

Parents need new ways to listen and communicate with their students as well as opportunities to process the ongoing transitions.

Choose from several packages:

Decisions 101 (Four - 30-minute sessions)

Discover 101 (Four - 30-minute sessions)

Design Your Life 101 (Four - 30-minute sessions)

or

Student Success Plan - Students work with Coach Mara to create a roadmap for their future

or

Monthly Coaching (1, 2 or 4 times per month) - ongoing coaching for personal development, mindset and accountability

Additional Information

Sessions will be scheduled in advance.

Session meetings will be held via Zoom (or phone as requested)

Cancellations require 24 hours notice to be rescheduled. Cancellations on the day of coaching will forfeit the ability to reschedule.

Parents & students can meet together with Coach Mara or individually. Individual sessions are confidential and will not be shared with another party. When parents sponsor (pay for) student coaching, coaching conversations remain confidential between the coach and the client. The coach will provide the framework for students to share with parents as they choose.

Conditions under which information will not be kept confidential include illegal activity if required by law, pursuant to a valid court order or subpoena; imminent or likely risk of danger to self or to others; etc. Where I reasonably believe one of the above circumstances is applicable, I may need to inform appropriate authorities.
