Our five-day excursion will leave Sitka on a Wednesday 8/17, returning the following Sunday 8/21. Some guests like to arrive in Sitka on Tuesday night via Alaska Airlines (flight #1177, arriving midnight).

Please be aware that we are not a charter boat. I'm just a fellow Bizx member with an amazing boat who loves to fish. You'll be treated as one of many groups of friends who will be staying with me this summer. Since I will be the only crew, I'll need help with the daily chores of cooking, cleaning, and preparing your fishing gear.

Expect it to be a very low-key experience with the exception of the actual fishing. One of the most memorable times was landing 30 - 15 lb. (real 15 lb.) silvers in an hour and a half. The limit is 6 per day per person.  An advantage of not being a charter is that we don't have to follow the regulation that stops us from keeping a halibut over 40 inches. We are allowed 2 per day, 4 possession, any size.

After spending each day fishing, we will find a suitable cove for anchoring. There are many.
