Meet Gunner! He is a 15-year-old Border Collie mix, who as a young dog, was trampled by a horse, requiring metal rods and pins in his hip and leg. In addition to pain and limited use of his backside, Gunner also suffers from arthritis, laryngeal paralysis, and is mostly deaf and partially blind. Fortunately, Gunner, and individuals like him can be helped with loving care, including special diet, supplements, and medication, and can live out their lives comfortably, and in safety.
