Tasting notes
Deeply concentrated, yet remarkably polished and poised, delivering wave after wave of blueberry, black cherry, raspberry and blackberry puree notes, all while warm tar and sweet tobacco details cruise underneath. A lingering, smoky cast iron note sails through the finish adding both structure and texture. Like its namesake, this classic left bank blend is deeply contemplative, expressive and theatrical.

Stella Mae is our first collaborative creation and our secret genius, covertly molding our family through deep reflection and a thirst for knowledge and artistic expression. A syrah for the 2004 and 2005 vintages, Stella Mae became a cabernet sauvignon focused classic Bordeaux blend in 2006, as we sought to align the girls' wines in the name of peace and harmony at the kitchen table. Like our daughter, each vintage of Stella Mae is a classic, lovely and vibrant in its youth and undoubtedly astounding in its evolution.
