2019 Forbidden Red

Patterson Cellars/ Washington Wine Co. (42) reviews

This dark and slightly mysterious wine opens with a lush notes of blackberry cobbler, sweet dark cherries and plums, with hints of strawberry compote, thyme, and vanilla. Smooth, seductive and slightly earthy, flavors of dark cherry and blackberries lead to a long finish of light tannins and lingering fruits, with just a hint of smoked meats. This wine will pair beautifully with strong flavors like wild rice and thyme-crusted pork roast.
